Latino Vibes Festival - Christmas Carols

Our Christmas festival will be an utterly unique event. It will be enlivened with the spirit, beat and

flavours of Latin America. It will be the very first event of its kind and we are truly proud that we have

been given the opportunity to organise this big fiesta here in our home, Hobart.

Market stalls, live music and kids' zone are just a few examples of what we have prepared for our

community. We envisioned a unique fiesta and would love our patrons and business partners to

immerse in the magic of Christmas... Latino style.

A little bit about the festival... the festival will be a free ticketed event for the whole family. The festival

is held on the 11th of December at the Long Beach Reserve, Sandy Bay between 2pm and 10pm.

We have the support of Hobart City Council, (HCC) as well as Multicultural Council of Tasmania (MCOT). 

Without the help of these two government entities this event could not have been able to be presented to you.

The festival will be run in two sessions. 

From 2pm to 6pm (session one) we will be offering activities and

performances that can be enjoyed by kids and the whole family  and Christmas Carols by

the hour will be offer. Outdoor cinema and Christmas favourite characters will make an appearance to

entertain our patrons to keep the Christmas spirit through the day. We will be offering Latino live music and DJ,

amazing food and drinks for all the family.

From 6pm to 10pm (session two). It will be the time to dance and celebrate the festive season with the

flair and passion of a Latino Christmas. There will be a wide array of delicious cuisine and drinks, from

both Latino and Hobart stallholders. For session two, we will be offering Latino live music and DJs. They

will be performing the latest hits to make our patrons relax, dance, and celebrate Christmas.

To summarise our festival to you, Latino culture is a vibrant one. Everything we do, we do it with passion

and we always thing big. Family, food, and community are particularly important to us, and we want to

bring all these together with this festival. Welcome to be part of our Familia!

Entrance policies to the event:

Tickets do not guarantee entry to the event, to avoid delays in entry we invite you to attend at the start time of the event at 2pm or 6pm

We are an Eco committed event, please do not use single use plastic. We are doing Eco crafts with all the kids. 

No BYO food or drinks. We are a cashless event.

We reserve the right of admission and permanence
