

An afternoon with Andrew Blanch

Musica da Camera present a program of string orchestra music with guitar soloist Andrew Blanch. DIrected by Lizzy Collier we will play music by Vivaldi, Boccherini, Grieg, Whiteacre and more.
Musica da Camera will be conducted by bass player and music education specialist Lizzy Collier and joined by talented guitarist Andrew Blanch in a one hour program of music for string orchestra and guitar. Andrew is one of the most exciting young guitarists in Australia and we are excited and privileged to be able to play with him. He will perform the Vivaldi guitar concerto and the wonderful Fandango by Boccherini for guitar and string quartet. The orchestra will also perform a selection of pieces for string orchestra by Grieg, Sibelius, Whiteacre and Piazzolla.
