American Whiskey & Food Pairing Dinner

Join us on Level One at Hornsby RSL Club for an interactive American Whiskey & Food Pairing Dinner. Enjoy an educational night hosted by Josh Davies from The Exchange, who will guide you through 5-courses of American Whiskey paired with a delicious American-style menu designed just for the event.

The night will begin with a Basil Hayden Golden Hour cocktail paired with the first course of succulent chicken skewers to welcome you to the event. Be seated for the main courses featuring Makers Mark, Knob Creek and Makers 46 paired with an assortment of Americana style beef and pork dishes, each expertly prepared using distinct cooking techniques. A highlight of your main course will be a succulent beef brisket, accompanied by the perfect accompaniments of American slaw, cornbread and pickles. Finally, the 5-course evening will conclude on a sweet note with a tantalising pecan pie paired with Baker's Whiskey for dessert.

All ticket holders have the opportunity to pre-purchase a bottle of Basil Hayden Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey 700mL for a very special price to be collected at the event. 

About your host: The Exchange is the 'go-to' team for drinks, culture, trends and experience. After spending 5 years mixing drinks in some of the best bars of Leeds, Josh Davies is back in Australia with The Exchange and is ready to share his love of all things spirits (namely whisky & gin), cocktails, and yes, his love of country music and hats too. Being a self-described "ultimate people's person", Josh's love language is teaching people about the wonderful world of spirits and sharing stories and experiences with them, whilst sipping on a smoky whisky or a crisp Dry Martini!
